Hello! I’m Ola and I am a Background Artist and 2D Designer for animation.

I am currently based and eligible to work in the UK. I graduated with a First Class Degree in Ba (Hons) Animation Production from Arts University Bournemouth 2018, and since then I have worked on TV and feature projects with a variety of studios for clients such as the BBC, Sky TV, Netflix and Warner Brothers.

My passion for cinema started with watching (and re-watching!) Lord of the Rings as a child; it continues to inspire me to this day to provide my viewers with the same sense of fun, adventure and escapism that it’s always given to me. I have since continued to study storytelling clarity and cinematography, and when I am not watching long emotional movies or my favourite Disney sequels I like being outdoors, hiking and exploring! I always try to have a casual project going on and my personal work is characterized by delicate linework, bold colours and dramatic lighting.

I consider myself to be a highly organized, detail-oriented and committed employee. I use my knowledge of the production pipeline to problem solve continuity and consistency, while keeping in mind the needs of other departments.
